Epson Stylus Photo PX660: Multi-function printer for photos
Multifunction printers are popular, no doubt - the times when you had to assemble the desk with printer, scanner and fax machine are thankfully long gone. The only photo-lovers had to engage yet in addition to dedicated photo printer. That should change with the Epson Stylus Photo PX660.

The printer has six ink tanks, the contents brought up to 5,760 x 1,440 dpi on the paper. As usual, the print speed varies depending on the resolution, in each case the fastest mode to the Stylus PX660 37 pages in black and white colored text and spit out 38 pages per minute. For a photo in 10 x 15 inches, according to manufacturer 12 seconds are needed.
Claria ink allegedly survived up to 200 years
Scanning is done with up to 1200 x 2400 DPI and the connection to the PC via USB. If you want to use the printer without a PC, for example, to copy or for direct photo printing from memory card (SD or CF), this is a 6.3 inch wide color touch pad available. In addition to photo paper printed the PX660 also suitable CDs and DVDs. The “Claria” ink referred to according to Epson not only particularly brilliant, but also resistant to: images remain according to the manufacturer in a photo frame receiving up to 98 years in a photo album for up to 200 years.
